DuPen Fountain Renovation

Situated just outside Climate Pledge Arena, this interactive splash pad is a thoughtful reimagining of a 60-year-old landmark water feature. Twenty-one individually controlled deck jets—each illuminated by dynamic RGBW lighting—are embedded within the fountain’s original footprint, creating a lively, ever-changing display that invites playful interaction. The redesign carefully preserves key historical and artistic elements of the original work by artist Everett DuPen, ensuring the fountain remains a vibrant gathering space that celebrates the community’s cultural legacy and enduring connection to public art.
